half empty or half filled?

Recently, one of my mom's friend asked when is my major exams.. i say its in may. he say:" not to worry, you have two months MORE!".. i say:" NOPE.. i have two months LEFT...."

there's a vast difference in this two answers u see..
like the title suggest.. if there was a glass infront of you.. do you see it as a half empty or half filled glass?


well.. this question has been in my head for the longest time..

this got to do with one's perception.. how they actually view things... in a pessimistic or optimistic viewpoint.. and all these are actually affected by alot of factors.. like the environment they are living in, perceptions instilled into them from their parents, circle of friends and maybe even current affiars going on in the world..

take for example.. how one handles a situation.. the pessimistic pple just picture the WORSE scenario, think of all the negative things that will take place and happen.. feeling that its the END of the WORLD.. while the optimistic pple, strong believes there's still HOPE.. they love this word.. and feel that even if there's juz a teeny weeny tinge of hope.. they still want to try.. they feel that things will turn out for the good...

i think i am a half filled person..haha..

p.s i'm aching all over from dancing today.. it was tiring but enjoyable. i just the feeling i have with HHN bunch of friends.. they make me smile.. HAPPY.
