Cherish.

There's one major reason for me to have a schedule/ diary and that is to keep track of things that I've been doing, events, celebrations and also to keep tabs on the COUNTLESS birthdays!

As I flip through my schedule( i do that QUITE REGULARLY. haha!), I realised, I've went through/experienced many important dates, gatherings and celebrations. Problem is I don't remember I've been through THIS MUCH in like eg. the past month or so. (for your info, I seriously don't keep track of DATES. Cause numbers are not exactly my BEST FRIENDS T.T) ALl these events will only eventually come in the form of memories. I will go "Oh. I remember in the past, I did this n this at where blablabla."

Time passes and go, only MEMORIES. They truly stay!!!

Past week was not exactly well spent, if I were to conclude my past week, I felt it was boring, dull, mundae, inefficient. All these impression stayed in my mind until....... I flipped open my schedule.

Monday, 20th Oct - Handball AAR at PS. Laughed, talked & shared on our experiences. Plenty of praises for our sponsorship! to the excos, they felt it was the best in their ENTIRE period as excos! (which is like over 1yr PLUSSS) We got alotttt. My favourit was NUM!! Benjie is just COOOOL.

Tues - Wed, 21st - 22nd Oct - barely sane, VOICELESS, coughing, dizzy. Half of the time, was not sure what was going on.

Thurs, 23 Oct - Macro lecture (yeah!!.. really like my lecturer) then REGGAED. COOOOL!!
My back was aching like mad the day after. Met my SR dance senior in the same class. DAO~~. It was raining cats and dogs after the class, my new friend Shuang Yi sheltered me all the way to the bustop! Smsed NPY and she was in school and so waited for her at dhoby to go home tgt. Bought POSH mashmallow brownie for her. (wierd, although it was for her, but i felt real happy! well according to this report, You'll actually get more sense of satisfaction and happiness when you buy things for OTHERS. hahaah! so YOU YOU YOU, the one reading this... wants to increase your sense of satisfaction?! Shower me with gifts now!!) Well anyway, it was an unplanned catch up session. Chatted with her n our amk senior all the way back home. hahaha

Fri, 24th Oct - POAed in the morn, lunch with doll at AMK hub. SUBWAY! went home to nua, met the aunties to try out my makeup for the next day. Night, seb's piano esemble at NYP! It was a good meetup with my JC pals! ok people that were present : yi,deb,me,ben, troll, ted, yiqun.
Seb's playign was AWESOME! I actually shed tears during his duet with his dad on the drums for the winner takes it all. The way seb plays, with lots of EMOTIONS truly touched me down to my bones. Well after that, we went chompchomp for supper! The whole way, from the bus ride to chomp. We were talking at the top of our lungs till all uncles & aunties kept turning around to STARE at us, we gabber away into the night till all of us got sore throat. We laughed till our stomach hurts. Cabbed home unwillingly at 2AM. Thats how enjoyable it IS.

Sat, 25th Oct - My mom's friend took part in this makeup competition, she needs a face. So she asked me! hee..Met up with them at 11plus and we began to prepare. All the hairspray and clips T.T Well at least the end product was fantastic! The competition ended at around 4plus. We didnt win anything but it was a wonderful experience!! hahaha. Went Little India next as Deepavali is just 2 days away! Saw a couple of nice costumes, but boy, it was really hot and stuffy in there! (at the bazaar I mean). Went home after that. My friends were SHOCKED to find me online on a Saturday evening. HAHA!

Sun, 26th Oct - HSM3 with ning, aunt June, ding, Aunt Susie and aunt woan! met them at around 10.40. We went food court for breakfast.. talked then movie then LUNCH then dessert. all expenses paid! I felt guilty for not contributing to the $$ cause they didnt want me to. (Well thoughts came into my mind, I would want to bring them out in future like this when i'm older and financially stable! I love my aunts who DOTES ON ME :) )

Conclusion: In fact, I did had a wonderful wonderful extremely wonderful week. as always. in fact if I think about it, there's bound to be highlights in each and every single week. It sometimes might not need to be a big event, it could be simple things that occur daily. Like chancing upon my erxingui in SIM and we lunched together. Or I was EARLY for lecture for once!! Haha. What I meant was, I prob took lots of things for granted. This is like a vicious cycle, I know that I shouldnt.. but once in a while u forgot and u slip into a taken-for-granted mode. Hence one word,
CHERISH.

haha. just some food for thought.

P.s: Just some random thoughts recently. My week was more or less summarised above, have been procrastinating lots recently regarding my studys. Finally getting down to serious business only LATELY. Haha. lots of catching up to do! My upcoming weeks will be packed with

  • busy thinking/planning/looking around for my 09 schedule (serious business!)
  • year end party

Bus 74.

The route of Bus 74 more or less SUMS up the whole of my education journey.

It stops at the 88 bustop that me and my primary school friends always take bus frm. It's the one nearest to mac. haha. Its a long 7 to 8 mins walk from Mayflower Primary school (the one thats up the hills), walking pass AMK lib, Jack's place, the old indian cinema(now where Kbox), to the KFC, the malay mosque and finally our bustop. HAHA. I remember always raising to the bustop if we see 88 from FAR. THOSE were the days. HAHA!

Then next I went to Ang Mo Kio Secondary School. (well before that I was at Punggol Sec for a week, and i got transferred to AMKSS!) Again. to walk to the 74/88 bustop we have to walk pass this big carpark. Thats where my favourite ban mian store is! For the record, me and my sec friends we eat that like ALMOST everyday! hehe. and the Mac thats DIRECTLY opp amkss, thats like almost a private property of our school. They actually do prepare their food according to our timing and exam schedule!! HAHAHAHA. ok sidetracked. So after school, netball trainings, drama sessions and the numourous help out in school, we will walk to that bustop. hahah.

Lastly is to my uni at SIM. ( to clarify although I go SIM. I'm in the UOL external programme. pursueing UOL degree! hee.) That super long bus ride to school. going there takes 40mins. back is WORSE. depends on the timing, if I take at 6.30, I can only reach my bustop at almost 8. *faints*

well I'm somehow amazed by the fact that my whole education journey is very much sum up in bus 74.

HAHA.

tick tock tick tock

Its the first thing i think of the moment I open my eyes. It's the last thing that crosses my mind before I sleep. I think about it when I'm walking, eating, stoning and even when I'm in the bathroom. Even as I'm typing the post now, I'm listening to it.

YES. It's my open house item. Come to think of it, It's just open house. Nothing special. But to me, it really means ALOT. My first performance after so longgggg (last time was in J2, 3yrs ago?!) and also, cause this is my Ms LALA. She's definitely one of the instructors I really like and admire so I do not want to disappoint her or myself. I'm like FAR FROM GOOD. I will work hard! I MUST. Also, It's my FIRST TIME performing with my dear seniors. TO others, it must just be A PERFORMANCE. To me, there's lots of significance to it!

I actually like this feeling of practicing hard for something. I havent had this feeling in a while, for DANCE. :)

My dear friends, I know I haven't been updating my blog for the LONGEST TIMEEEE. Haha. I'm sad too! I think I've failed to note down so much interestings things that happened recently.
